India v England 4th ODI Lords – India look to save series

On two months tour to England, India lost the test series by 4-0 that resulted them to loose their Number One test ranking and now they are on verge of loosing ODI series as well after beaten comprehensively in first two ODI’s.

Nothing seems to be working right for Dhoni together, if batting fails then there bowler try hard to win a game for them and when batsmen fire then bowling looked really awful.

So far on this tour India has not manage to win a single game and it’s very hard to believe when someone said before this tour begin. India is left with only two game and they need to win both to save the one day series.

There will be no time for the beleaguered Indians to reflect on their latest defeat, but as skipper MS Dhoni pointed out, it was heartening to see the performances of youngsters like Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin. Both bowled really well together in last game and if they have got some support from their fast bowlers then the result could have been different.

Ravinder Jadeja who named as all-rounder came to England and performed exceptionally well both with bat and bowl which earned him Man of the Match award in loosing cause.

Indian batting once again depend lot on Rahul Dravid and M.S.Dhoni since rest batters are in-experienced and yet to perform under pressure except young Virat Kohli.

They are now back at home of cricket where rain could again play a spoil sport, 60% chances of rain is predicted for Sunday, so we could get another rain reduced game and in which case England is probably the favorite since they are world champions of twenty20.

Many will argue that rain interruption in last game did help India by numbers but that interruption cause the lost of momentum which is with India when rain started to fall heavily at Oval. When play resumed England scored at brisk pace in six overs and that is where India lost the momentum and game. So India bad luck continues and no body knows for how long.

The best thing is India still looked positives despite of loss in first two One day internationals. If we get a full game then it’s expected to be high class encounter between two high class teams.

Likely Playing XI for both teams (Match is schedule to begin at 14:45 PM India Time)

With nothing going India way, its most likely that India will try to inject something into the squad by including Varun Aaron into the squad.

On the other hand England will try to stick with same playing XI that beaten India in last ODI at Oval.

India Squad: Parthiv Patel (WK), Ajinkya Rahane, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, M.S.Dhoni (Captain & WK), Ravinder Jadeja, , R.Ashwin, Praveen Kumar, R.P.Singh, Varun Aaron.

England Squad: Craig Kieswetter (WK), Alastair Cook (Captain), Jonathan Trott, Ian Bell, Ravi Bopara, Ben Stokes, Tim Bresnan, Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Jade Dernbach.
