India v England 2nd ODI Southampton – India look for first win on this tour

Indian bad luck is not leaving them on this tour and with injury list growing match after match, it’s very hard to predict the outcome of the ODI series on the shoulder of young looked Indian team.

They were all set to register there first win on this tour during first ODI after setting the target of 275 to England and reducing them to 27/2 when rain interrupts play and finally called-off.

Now India will be without the service of Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma, both declared injured and need rest for at least 3-4 weeks of time to recover. Indians were already missing there key players like Zaheer, Ishant, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Harbhajan, Gambhir and now these two.

However since they are World Champions they know how to tackle the situation. Indians got some new faces and this is the time to prove to the world that even without the service of star players they can beat formidable English team.

It’s good opportunity for Ajinkya Rehane, Parthiv Patel, Manoj Tiwary to prove them at international level. Hampshire's Rose Bowl, where the series resumes in earnest at 0-0 with four to play. India's resolve in the Durham opener was a timely reminder of the class they still exude in limited-overs cricket

England will try to rectify the mistakes they have done during 1st ODI in both batting and bowling department. England in the absence of Kevin Pietersen looks little bit unreliable in middle orders. However likes of Trott, Bell and Morgan is enough to fill the English batting lineup.

In the bowling also they got very good bowler for later stage of the inning in the likes of Jade Dernbach and Tim Bresenan. England bowling will be boosted by the return of G.Swann who missed the first ODI because of stomach problem.

Likely Playing XI for both teams (Match is schedule to begin at 18:30 PM India Time)

England look fit and most consistent side now days with each and every player fit to take the field as compared to India. They are likely to stick with same squad which played during 1st ODI.

On the other hand India got bad news on Monday about there star batsman Sachin Tendulakr, so now most of the faces are new in the team. With Injury to Sachin and Rohit Sharma has left no other option than to try Ravinder Jadeja or Manoj Tiwary in the squad. In bowling department also Indian will try to give Varun Aaron a chance to prove his inclusion in the squad.

India Squad: Parthiv Patel (WK), Ajinkya Rahane, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, Manoj Tiwary, Suresh Raina, M.S.Dhoni (Captain & WK), R.Ashwin, Praveen Kumar, Varun Aaron, Munaf Patel.

England Squad: Craig Kieswetter (WK), Alastair Cook (Captain), Jonathan Trott, Ian Bell, Eoin Morgan, Ben Stokes, Tim Bresnan, Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Jade Dernbach.
