 There will be total 74 matches will be played in this edition of IPL and total 10 teams will participate in IPL 2011. The two new teams will be Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Pune Warriors India The tournament will start from 8th of April 2011 to May 28th 2011. Each team will play with each other twice (total 70 number of league matches will be played between ten teams) and top four teams having maximum number of points and superior net run rate will qualify for the next Qualifier rounds to be played on 24th and 27th May at Wankhede Stadium and Chepauk, Chennai.
