After a flop show in the last game both India and New Zealand will virtually play a semi final to enter into the Final of Micromax Cup 2010. Both team reached this stage without any consistency and they are lacking momentum, however if we compare both team then India will have slight advantage as they have more experienced players in their rank as compared to New Zealand.

Both teams are missing key players and they know a loss here will give them early ticket to fly back home. It has been a real topsy turvy tournament and there has not been any consistency by either the teams or the way that the events have unfolded. Batting first or second on Dambulla Surface has no advantage as we have seen in this tournament, the team who have batted first failed to put of a good total on the board and that allowed other teams to chase down the score without any pressure.

However as far Dhoni concerned he will be eyeing a good performance from his teammates in this game to either put up a decent score on the board or chase down the total easily.

As we have seen in last game, apart from Yuvraj Singh performance no batsmen able to dictate the term and this is really a worry sign for the Indians in this crunch game. Virendra Sehwag is also in good form and India will hope for another good inning from him to give India a chance to make it into the Final to be played on 28^th August.

New Zealand on the other hand after mauling India by 200 runs in the first game will be quite confidence of repeating the similar kind of performance. They will miss the services of Jacob Oram because of injury however the players like S.Styris, Captain Ross Taylor and talented P.Ingram will be eying a perfect performance from their side to not only lift the morale of the team but to beat India comprehensively and reach into the Final.

Once again it will be important to see the decision of the captain who wins the toss and it will be not an easier task either batting first, so it will create a little tricky situation. It is expected that for this game Fresh pitch will be used but it is expected to behave no different than other pitches used so far in this tournament.
