|Earlier due to wet outfield second Cricket Test match between India and England Started late. Indian Captain Rahul Dravid won the toss and Elected to bowl first and his decision was well supported by Indian bowlers specially Zaheer Khan who took 3/57 at end of Day I.
From the word go pitch was offering too much favor for the simmer with the movement in the air as well as from the pitch. Indian bowler was right on the spot from the start and India drawn the first blood Andrew Strauss in the third over of the inning when Zaheer Khan bowls got an edge to first slip and Sachin tendulkar has no difficulty in catching that one up.
India sent back Andrew Strauss (4), skipper Michael Vaughan (9) and Kevin Pietersen (13) before the total had reached 50.
At the end of Day I England were 169/7 with Chris Tremllet on 16 after dropping him on 4 by Sachin at first slip on the bowling of Zaheer Khan and Ruan Sidebottom on 0 not out.
Aliastar Cook and Paul Collingwood try to get England Innings on track by putting 57 runs for fourth wicket but S. Sreesanth bowled Paul Collingwood (28) to get the much needed breakthrough for Indians (101/4).
Few overs later Saurav Ganguly was rewarded for his brilliant line and length when he got out lbw Aliastra Cook when he was on 43 (109/5). At this stage England required much needed partnership to get back on track. Mat Prior and Ian bell put 38 run for the sixth wicket before Anil Kumble got the wicket of Mat. Prior caught by Rahul Dravid in the first slip.
And finally, Zaheer took his third wicket of the day by clinching the wicket of the last expert batsman of the England line-up - Ian Bell when he was on 31.
Now it’s an great opportunity for Indian batsman given by the bowlers to do solid foundation in the middle and take huge lead in the first inning.

On day 2 of second test match Indian Bowler started well and wrapped up the England tail very quickly and bowled them out for 198. At Lunch Indians were 40/0 with Dinesh Karthik nout out on 20 and Wasim Jaffer on 15.
