Sachin Tendulkar Played an Outstanding Inning to beat South Africa by 6 Wickets

Sachin Tendulkar on Friday played an outstanding knock of 93 runs to beat South Africa by 6 wickets to level the three match series by 1-1. At one stage Indians are cruising to victory when they were 134/0 but in the space of 5 overs South African bowler came back brilliantly to dismiss Sourav Ganguly 42 runs of 75 balls (134/1), Rahul Drvaid 2 runs of 10 balls (140/2), Sachin Tendulkar 93 runs of 160 balls (140/3) and finally Mahendra Singh Dhoni 0 run of 4 balls (142/4).

But thanks to Yuvraj Singh and Dinesh Karthik who played with their maturity and patience to guide India home with 5 balls to spare. Yuvraj and Karthik both made 49 and 32 respectively.

Earlier Rahul Dravid won the toss and put South Africa into bat, with balls moving and seaming around them they had struggle to put the big Score to chase for the Indians. Thanks to Morne van Wyk 82 runs and Mark Boucher 55 runs which help South Africans to reach the total of 226/6 in their allotted 50 overs. The main Bowler for Indians was Yuvraj Singh who balls brilliantly to take 3 wickets for 36 runs in 9 overs.

Sachin Tendulkar was declared Man of The Match for his brilliant 93 run knock with 2 huge sixes and 13 fours in 106 balls.

India will play their final match against South Africa on 1st of July 2007. Peoples in India can watch this match Live & Exclusive on Sab TV and National Channel from 3:15 PM.

Owais Shah help England to beat West Indies in second 20 International Match by 5 Wickets

England beat West Indies by 5 wickets to level the series 1-1 after losing the first match against the Guest team West Indies.

After winning the toss West Indies Captain Chris Gayle decided to bat on beautiful Oval wicket. West Indies started well with their Captain Gayle making 61 of 37 balls with 8 fours and one huge six and first match star Marlon Samuels batted in same fashion from where he has left in the first match with his blistering hitting West Indies at one stage look to reach more than 200 in their allotted 20 overs but thanks to England Captain Paul Collingwood who picked up both Chris Gayle and Samuels at the right time to restrict west Indies on 169/7 in 20 overs.

Chasing the target of 170 England again got to a flyer but they lost Cook when score was 25 in the 3rd over on the bowling of Daren Powel after Cook dismissal England loose their wickets at regular interval in the same time England asking rate are also climbing. Oasis Shah and Paul Collingwood gave some resistance to England with their 36 run partnership for 5th wicket. In the process Collingwood hit Samuels for huge six over long on but very next ball Samuels dismiss Collingwood to shatter the England hopes. When Paul Collingwood was out England were struggling at 104//5 in 13.3 overs.

After Collingwood dismissal, Owais Shah take charge and hit Samuels for 18 runs in one over (16th over) to give England an outside chance. In the very next over he hit Dwayne Smith for 16 runs and after that it’s only Shah…Shah and Shah. He made 55 of 35 balls with 7 fours and remains unbeaten till end.

Marlon Samuels Played an Outstanding Inning to Beat England in First 20 International Match

West Indies beat England by 15 runs in their first twenty International match against England.

After winning the toss West Indies captain Chris Gayle decided to bat at beautiful Oval wickets but West Indies loss their captain very early in the second over of the match at 13/1. Shivnarine Chanderpaul who came out to bat after dismissal of Chris Gayle and opner Devon Smith played an outstanding inning to give West Indies a flying start to make a huge total in their allotted quota of 20 overs. After dismissal of Chanderpaul who is looking very dangerous batsman from England point of view another dangerous player Marlon Samuels arrive at the crease and scored brilliant 51 from just 26 balls to set England a huge target of 209 to chase.

England Started well but due to run rate which is climbing high over after over England loose their way and are struggling at 101/6 in 13th over but thanks to England new Captain Collingwood and Michael Yardy who plays brilliantly to give England an outside chance to win this match. But West Indies bowler Ravi Rampaul kept their head cool and bowl brilliantly at the depth to give West indies their first International Victory on the tour.

England Captain Paul Collingwood made 79 of 41 deliveries. He was finally run out in the last over of the game.

South Africa beat Ireland by 42 runs – SA Vs Ireland ODI 2007

South Afrcia beat Ireland by 42 runs in rain affected game with the help of debutant Vernon Philander made an impressive debut by claiming four wickets. He was impressive and bowled with superb line and length (5.5 – 1 – 12 – 4) which helps souat Africa to register 42 run win against the Irish team.Earlier due to Rain match was delayed by five hours and it was reduced to 31 overs a side. Trent Johnson won the toss and put South Africa in to bat. South Afrcian opener Ab Devilliers (40 of 35 balls) and Morne van Wyk (52 of 84 balls) got a flying start but after the dismissal of Ab Devilleirs run rate slow down. But in the end some lusty hitting by Justin Kem 18 of 13 balls gave south africa a total of 173 in allotted 31 Overs.

In reply Ireland started brightly by hitting 45/0 in 9 Overs but after wards it all South Africa and they bundle out the Irish in 31st over on 131/10. Star from Irish side is another Debutant all rounder Alex Cusack which made 36 not out and with ball taken 3 wickets (4-0-15-3).

India beat Ireland by 9 wkts - India Vs Ireland ODI 2007

India beat Ireland by 9 wickets after chasing the 171 run target in a rain affected game. Ganguly and Gambhir got India home after they were 9/1 in the very first over when Sachin Tendulkar bold by Irish opening bowler. But Gautam Gambhir and Sourav Ganguly batted superbly to guide India Home without losing any further wickets. Gambhir and Ganguly were not out at 80 and 74 respectively. Both have 162 run second wicket partnership after loss of Sachin Tendulkar in the very first over.

Earlier Rahul Dravid won the toss and elected to field first on the moving wickets and his decision are well supported by his front line bowler S. Sreesanth and leg Spinner Piyush Chawla both picked up 3 wicket each. At one stage Ireland struggling at 111/6 but thanks to Wicketkeeper Nail Obrien (52 of 79 balls with 4 fours) and Captain Trent Johnson (34 with 1 fours and 2 huge sixes) which help Ireland to reach 193 in allotted 50 Overs.

India needed 194 to win but due to rain India get reduced target of 171 in 35 Overs according to D/L method. India started superbly with Sourav Ganguly hitting four runs on the very first ball of the Indian innings and in the same over Sachin Tendulkar hit the boundary in the offside but on the last ball of Roger Whelan, Sachin try to flick the ball in the onside but he miss the line of the ball and got out when India had 9 runs on the board. But Gautam Gambhir came out to bat and hit some lusty boundary in the start to release the pressure. Ganguly got some chance but he manage to keep his cool and both guided India to 9 wicket win over Ireland.

In this match India was playing without the master hitter Mahendra Singh Dhoni and paceman Zaheer Khan while Rohit Sharma is making his debut.

Gautam Gambhir was named Man of The Match after his brilliant 80 not out.

England Cricket Team Got New ODI Captain

ECB has announced new Captain Name “Paul Collingwood” to lead the England in ODI against West Indies starting from July 1 2007.

After the dismissal performance in the World Cup 2007 Michael Vaughan has stepped out from the Role of ODI Captain. The ODI ranking of England is 7th just above West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Kenya.

Paul Collingwood has scored 276 and taken six wickets in the World cup 2007 where England has not able to put the good show.

With his alrounder ability, both with the bat and bowl he has able to impress England cricket Board and given the chance to lead the England ODI team against the upcoming ODI against West Indies starting from 1st July 2007.

Initially Kevin Pieterson the number one player according to ICC Ranking has refused to lead the England team.

India Vs Ireland Crciket Match 2007

Indian Captain Rahul Dravid have won the toss and elected to field first against Ireland on the moving and bouncy wickets. India is playing without the master hitter Mahendra Singh Dhoni and paceman Zaheer Khan while Rohit Sharma is making his debut.

S.Sreesanth and R.P Singh started the Bowling for India and give the early breakthrough by claiming the opener K Carroll (he is caught by karthik on the bowling of S.Sreesanth).

Although India look favorite to win this match against Ireland on paper but as you remember the same Irish team has been addicted of beating Asian team in the World Cup 2007 (Pakistan & Bangladesh). They have reached the super Eight stage in the world cup 2007.

Yajurvindra Singh has make the statement that Indian will be easily bowled out the Irish team below 150, let see what happens.
