Owais Shah help England to beat West Indies in second 20 International Match by 5 Wickets

England beat West Indies by 5 wickets to level the series 1-1 after losing the first match against the Guest team West Indies.

After winning the toss West Indies Captain Chris Gayle decided to bat on beautiful Oval wicket. West Indies started well with their Captain Gayle making 61 of 37 balls with 8 fours and one huge six and first match star Marlon Samuels batted in same fashion from where he has left in the first match with his blistering hitting West Indies at one stage look to reach more than 200 in their allotted 20 overs but thanks to England Captain Paul Collingwood who picked up both Chris Gayle and Samuels at the right time to restrict west Indies on 169/7 in 20 overs.

Chasing the target of 170 England again got to a flyer but they lost Cook when score was 25 in the 3rd over on the bowling of Daren Powel after Cook dismissal England loose their wickets at regular interval in the same time England asking rate are also climbing. Oasis Shah and Paul Collingwood gave some resistance to England with their 36 run partnership for 5th wicket. In the process Collingwood hit Samuels for huge six over long on but very next ball Samuels dismiss Collingwood to shatter the England hopes. When Paul Collingwood was out England were struggling at 104//5 in 13.3 overs.

After Collingwood dismissal, Owais Shah take charge and hit Samuels for 18 runs in one over (16th over) to give England an outside chance. In the very next over he hit Dwayne Smith for 16 runs and after that it’s only Shah…Shah and Shah. He made 55 of 35 balls with 7 fours and remains unbeaten till end.
