 Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan has been rested by the Indian selectors for the tour of West Indies. India will play four One Day Internationals on short tour of West Indies. The first two ODI’s will be played on 26th and 28th June at Jamaica while last two one day internationals will be played on 3rd and 5th of July at St Lucia. Indian selector on Wednesday when sat to pick the 15 member squad they have given more weight on resting some of the key’s players. Suresha Raina who has hair line thumb injury has also been rested Virendra Sehwag will also miss the tour due to shoulder injury. M Vijay, India's third opener in Tests, took Sehwag's place. Ashish Nehra, who did well for Delhi Daredevils in the IPL, returns after a four-year absence, and RP Singh, another bowler making a comeback through the IPL, replaced Munaf. Raina's place went to Chennai Super Kings team-mate S Badrinath. The place for Tendulkar and Z.Khan is captured by all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and Abhishek Nayar. A.Nayar is warded for his exceptional performance at domestic level as well as in recently concluded IPL.
