Team News

Indian team after a superb win at Rajkot in first ODI went on to this match without any changes. England
also went with same playing XI as played in first ODI.

Final Playing XI for both teams (Match has started at 09:00 AM India Time on 17th November)

India Squad: Gautam Gambhir, V.Sehwag, S.Raina, Y.Singh, M.S.Dhoni (Captain & WK), Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, H.Singh, Z.Khan, R.P.Singh, M.Patel.

England Squad: Ian Bell, Matt Prior (WK), Kevin Pietersen (Captain), Ravi Bopara, Owais Shah, Paul Collingwood, Andrew Flintoff, Samit Patel, Stuart Broad, S.Harmision, James Anderson.

Watch out for

Deadly Duo: The two Delhi duos Virendra Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir are in great form and always provided a great start for their team. If any one of these two players gets going then it will be nightmare for the England bowlers.

K.Pietersen: His team has lost the first game easily but he has not let down his fans with his performance and he is one of the most dangerous batsmen of new era. If he stays there for 10-15 overs then he might won the match for his team on his own.

Pitch and conditions

The pitch at Nehru Statdium, Indore will be another batting paradise. However due to 9 o’clock start there will be some help for the fast bowler in the first hour of the game otherwise it will be batting beauty. Batsman will enjoy playing shot on this wicket and we might witness another high scoring match at this venue.

Stats & Trivia

Last time when India played here at Indore against England India went onto chase down 289 runs target with ease.
