IPL twenty20 – King XI Punjab takes on Chennai Super King

The king of Sixer in twenty20 Yuvraj Singh team King XI Punjab will take on M.S.Dhoni team Chennai Super King in the second match of IPL twenty20. The game is all set to begin at 5’o clock Indian time at Punjab Cricket Assocation Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh.

First time Indian crowd able to see Brett Lee bowling to big lad Mathew Hayden and Kumar Sangkara will face his team mates M. Muralitharan. Team mates’ for years now will play against each other in next 45 days and that’s what IPL twenty20 is all about.

Both teams look equal on paper in batting department. However King XI Punjab has upper hand in bowling department with the likes of Brett Lee, Irfan Pathan, S.Sreesanth in their team.

Chennai Super King also got some real twenty20 specialist in their bank likes of Jacob Oram, M.Hayden and captain himself can destroy any bowling attack on their day. So it’s all about who will take control of their nerves will be winner of today’s game.

This is a twenty20 IPL match between kings of same strength. Unlike Bangalore IPL match, this match will go to last over to decide winner. Chennai’s lack of world class fast bowlers will become its major Achilles heel.

The pitch at Mohali will suit the fast bowlers like Brett Lee, S.Sreesanth and Irfan Pathan also able to swing the bowl. So all in all home team is ready to take the advantage on their home soil by preparing the pitch to suit their pace attack.

IPL twenty20 – Delhi Dare Devils will face Rajasthan Royals at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi

IPL third match will be played against the Delhi Dare Devils and Rajasthan Royals. Delhi teams look to wrap up the match in a same way as what Kolkata Riders done against Bangalore Royal Challengers. However Captain cum Coach Shane Warne looking confident to beat the Delhi Dare devils in front of their home crowd.

Delhi start favorites for the clash, with a heady mix of aggressive batsmen, wily bowlers and athletic fielders, but it will be folly to underestimate the tactical acumen of Warne, the coach and captain.

Delhi teams have some big hitters in their team likes of Virendra Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir are two players who can take match away in few overs. On the other hand Rajasthan Royals have players like Shane Watson and Yusuf Pathan both are aggressive player and both have all round capability.

Delhi dare Devils are likely to open with Sehwag and Gambhir, with Tillakaratne Dilshan and wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik occupying middle-order spots. On the other hand Shane Watson and Y.Pathan is likely to open the inning for Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals: Shane Watson, Taruwar Kohli, Mohammad Kaif, Darren Lehmann, Niraj Patel, Yusuf Pathan, Mahesh Rawat (WK), Ravindra Jadeja , Shane Warne (Captain & Coach), Pankaj Singh, Munaf Patel.
