IPL twenty20 – Chennai Super Kings confident to beat Mumbai Indians at Chepauk, Chennai

Chennai Super Kings who is flying high on confidence after beating King XI Punjab in their first game will now confident to repeat the same against Mumbai Indians in front of their home crowd.

Mumbai Indians on the other hand struggling to find proper combination due to Sachin Tendulkar and Dominic Thornely injury. Sachin Tendulkar who will turn 35 on Thursday is almost certain to miss out the encounter against solid looking Chennai Super Kings.

However Mumbai Indians is boosted by the inclusion of West Indian all rounder Dwayne Bravo and he is almost certain to get fit into final playing XI. Saurav Tiwary may also get a game here in place of Pinal Shah.

Mumbai Indians have certain start in their rank if they get going then they can post huge total on the board. Sanath Jayasurya who was unfortunately run out in the first match against Bangalore Royal Challengers is eying big inning at batting friendly wicket.

Robin Uthappa may not have pleased the purists during his 48 at home, but his innovative stroke play can hurt opponents. With this form of the game placing a premium on all-round abilities, Shaun Pollock may be the difference between the sides.

So all in all match eight of the DLF Indian Premier League between these two teams will provide a fascinating contest. MS Dhoni will aim to keep the winning run going for Chennai Super Kings in their first home match, and their opponents will be the Mumbai Indians who will have to make do once again without injured Captain Sachin Tendulkar.

Mike Hussey would also like to carry his good form and play in the same fashion as he played against King XI at Mohali.
