India v Netherlands at Delhi ICC World Cup – India look to continue their winning habit going

India v Netherlands ICC World Cup 2011India will look to continue their unbeaten glory in 2011 world cup as they take on Netherlands who have not manage to threat any major side in the tournament except England in their first game. However Indian captain already declared that his team is not going to take any team lightly in this tournament after a disaster they have face in 2007 world cup.

Netherlands has not performed well after their first game against England in which they came close to win but after that they have lost both their games by huge margin against West Indies and South Africa respectively.

Netherlands batsmen need to apply themselves more in the middle if they would like to post any challenge to the Indians. Tom Cooper and Ryan ten Doeschate needs some help from other batsmen also to get going against heavy Indian spin attack.

On the other hand India would love to register a big win to secure their Quarterfinal berth after a hard fought win over Ireland in their last game at Bengaloru. India fielding and some of their bowler must improve to give Indian any chances against Strong opponenets like South Africa or West Indies, so this game will be vital for Indian bowlers to lift their moral against week opponents like Netherlands.

Indian batting so far in the tournament performed well and they need to continue the good show but the worry sign for Dhoni is the Indian fielding and some of the bowlers. Apart from Zaheer Khan none of the regular bowlers looked close to picking up the wicket. Harbhajan Singh, Piyush Chawla as well as Munaf Patel all looked sort of confidence in their three outing so far.

Indian bowlers need to somehow get into groove quickly to regain the confidence as quickly as possible. Betting sites like WilliamHill also not giving chance to any Indian bowlers except Zaheer Khan to come good in today's game.

Pitch & Conditions

The Pitch at Feeroz Shah Kotla is known for its slow and low bouncy wicket, so far in last few games played here team batting second struggle to get going. So team winning the toss is likely to bat first and put in excess of 275 runs on the board.

Likely Playing XI for both teams (Match is schedule to begin at 14:30 PM India Time)

Piyush Chawla who performed really badly in the last two games is likely to be replaced by R.Ashwin rest of the teams looks settled so it might remain same as played against Ireland.

On the other hand Netherlands are likely to go with same XI as taken part against South Africa despite loosing the game by big margin.

India: Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni (Captain & WK), Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, R.Ashwin, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra.

Netherlands: Alexei Kervezee, Wesley Barresi (WK), Tom Cooper, Ryan ten Doeschate, Bas Zuiderent, Tom de Grooth, Peter Borren (Captain), Mudassar Bukhari, Pieter Seelaar, Bernard Loots, Berend Westdijk.
