Indian Squad announced for ODI Series against Australia

Rahul Dravid was left out from the 15 member Indian squad when selectors picked the squad for first two one day internationals against Australians. R.P.Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Abhishek Nayar and Dinesh Karthik also dropped from the squad after poor show in the recent series.

Yuvraj Singh and Virendra Sehwag both included in the squad after missing the recently concluded Champions Trophy in South Africa. Surpruse inclusion in the squad is pacer Sudeep Tyagi, after performing really well in the Challengers trophy he has been given chance by selector to prove his ability at the international level. Munaf Patel and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also recalled in the squad. Both players also performed really well in the recently concluded domestic season.

Selectors said that Yuvraj Singh, who is currently nursing a fractured finger, will be completely fit by October 28 for the second one-dayer in Nagpur and might be available for the first one-dayer as well on October 25 in Vadodara.

Sudeep Tyagi also uses to play for Chennai Super Kings under the captaincy of Indian captain M.S.Dhoni which will be another help for this young lad.

Ishant Sharma has been persisted with despite his struggles in the limited-overs format.

India squad for 6th & 7th ODI: Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni (Captain/WK), Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra, Ashish Nehra, Munaf Patel, Sudeep Tyagi, Praveen Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Dinesh Karthik.

Australia Squad: Shane Watson, Shaun Marsh, Ricky Ponting (Captain), Michael Hussey, Cameron White, Andrew McDonald, Graham Manou (WK), Mitchell Johnson, Nathan Hauritz, Burt Cockley, Jon Holland, Ben Hilfenhaus, Doug Bollinger, Adam Voges, Clint McKay.
