The first match of challenger series will be played from todays and it will be great for the youngster to make some impression in the eyes of selector before Pakistan series which begins from November 5th. In this year challenger series several best players of India is given a rest for the home turf tournament. The players who are rested are Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Sreesanth, Zaheer Khan, R. P. Singh, Irfan Pathan. This is the only series from which selector have to decide about Indian best playing team against Pakistan and Australia tour.
