India Vs England 5th ODI at Leeds (Headingly) – Collingwood won the toss and decided to field

England captain Paul Collingwood won the toss in the fifth ODI and decided to field first at Headingley. So Indians are batting first with the overcast around so bowl will move and seem in the earlier over of the match.

England has made one changes in place of unfit Andrew Flintoff they are playing John Lewis and India are playing with Gautam Gambhir in place of R.P Singh.

After down in the series by 1-3 India need to win this match to stay alive in the seven match ODI series. So far England has played some outstanding cricket in the series and they like to wrap up the series today.

England has shown some good cricket with the bat as well as ball. Their fielding is far better than the Indians. From Indian point of view they have to win all the remaining three games to win the series and end the tour on good note.

Indians have not a good memory at Headingly they were able to win only two matches here in past and they have lost all four matches they have played against England. So they have to pull their shocks up to do really well in today’s match.

Andrew Flintoff may miss the today’s match due to left ankle injury, this is really good news for the Indians. Indian camp are thinking of playing seven batsman and four bowlers for this ODI since Dinesh Karthik is not able to deliver so far. Indians have one more major problem i.e. their main strike bowler Zaheer Khan may not play today due to some injury. But he is finally fit to play the fifth ODI against England this morning.

Final Playing XI for both teams (Match will start from 2.45 PM Indian time)

India: Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, D.Karthik, Rahul Dravid (C), M.S Dhoni, A.Agarkar, Piyush Chawla, Zaheer Khan, Ramesh Pawar.

England: A.Cook, Matt Prior, Ian bell, Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood (C), Ravi Boapra, Owasis Shah, Sturat Broad, James Anderson, M. Panesar, John Lewis
