England cricket team will begin their two tier tour
of India with the 1st
Test match starting November 9 in Rajkot.
England tour of India
compromises of five test match, three one day internationals and three twenty
20 internationals.
Vizag
will host its first test, second of the series from November 17th while
Mohali will host 3rd Test match starting November 26th. Fourth
test match will be played in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai from 8th December
to 12th December 2016 and final test match will be hosted by Chennai
from 16th to 20th December 2016.
England
will play five match test series and will go back home to celebrate Christmas and
New Year with their family before returning to India to complete the tour with
three one day internationals and three twenty20 internationals.
After
their return in January for remaining leg of series, England will kick start the tour
with 1st One day international scheduled to be hosted by Pune on
January 15th. Cuttack and Kolkata will host remaining two fixtures of
ODI’s and Kanpur, Nagpur
& Bangalore
will host remaining three twenty20 internationals on 26th, 29th
January and 1st February 2017.
England will hope to repeat the
history they have created in 2012 by winning the test series against India,
however this time it will be little tricky for them and India will be up with
more than five test match under their sleeves in the recent times but you never
know so all these things make this series more interseting.
