Yuvraj Singh is out of Champions Trophy Scene

Indian dashing hard hitting middle order batsman Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out of ongoing ICC Champions Trophy tournament. He has fractured his finger in his right hand during a fielding session. Now he will not able to play cricket for six week time. This is came as shocking news for many Indian fans including me, when I hear that Yuvraj Singh is ruled out.

With Virendra Sehwag, Zaheer Khan is already out from the scene and Gautam Gambhir (still doubtful), this is big blow to India chances in the ongoing Champions Trophy 2009. The injury has added to India's concern ahead of their Champions Trophy opener against Pakistan on September 26.

Virat Kohli will now fly to South Africa to take his place in the team.

Indian cricket team for the second time back in the number one spot in ICC ODI team ranking after South Africa big lost to Sri Lanka in their first game of Champions Trophy. Now India tops the table with 126 points while Australia (125 points) and South Africa (123 points) are at 2nd and 3rd spot respectively.

India earlier this month had reached the top spot but for barely 24 hours. With very few points separating the top three teams, we can witness fluctuation in the ICC ODI team ranking during upcoming champions trophy matches.
