 Here are the points table with the Net Run rate and the number of matches each team has played in the ICC Champions Trophy 2009.
In the initial phase of Champions Trophy 2009 all eight teams is divided into two groups A and B. Australia, India, Pakistan and West Indies are placed in Group A and host South Africa, England, New Zealand and Sri Lanka are placed in Group B. Each team will play with each other in their corresponding groups before top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage (Semi Finals of CT 2009). Then the winner of each semi finals will play the final on 5th of October 2009 at Super Sports Park, Centurion.
