First it was V.Sehwag (201 not out runs) who helped India to post a comparative total in the first inning and then Harbhajan Singh run through the Sri Lankan top orders by picking up four crucial wickets to reduce Sri Lanka at 215/5 with M.Jayawardne batting on 46 not out with wicketkeeper batsman H.Jayawardne (5 runs). When Sri Lankan inning started it was Zaheer Khan who strikes with his third delivery in the very first over to get rid off M.Vandort. But Kumar Sangkara (68 runs) and B.Warnapura (66 runs) put on 133 runs for 2nd wicket to frustrate the Indians.
